iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max go on sale in the UAE as Dubai Mall queues form

The iPhone 18 Pro UAE launch is under way, with iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max shoppers queuing at Dubai Mall from as early as 3am and retailers reporting that pre-order allocations sold out in under 20 minutes.

The two Pro models went on sale on Friday, 18 September after pre-orders opened at 4pm on 12 September. Gulf News reported a long queue outside Apple Dubai Mall, while Khaleej Times said retailers had seen particularly strong demand for the Pro Max and the new burgundy finish.

iPhone 18 Pro UAE prices and storage options

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Dh5,099 for 256GB, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Dh5,499. The top 2TB Pro Max configuration reaches Dh10,599.

Apple and UAE retailers are offering trade-in credits and instalment plans. Eros said its initial allocation had sold out, with the 512GB version drawing the most interest. Jumbo reported a similar response across its stores and online platform.

iPhone 18 Pro Max demand arrives before Apple’s foldable

Retailers also pointed to interest in Apple’s first foldable phone, which Khaleej Times reports will be called the iPhone Duo. The device is expected to be available from 23 October, with pre-orders opening on 16 October and prices starting at Dh8,499.

That upcoming launch may give some buyers a reason to wait, but the iPhone 18 Pro Max is already moving through its first UAE allocation. Apple’s Dubai Mall queue, meanwhile, remains the traditional proof that a new iPhone has arrived.
