The iPhone 18 Pro price in Dubai is about ₹33,000 lower than India’s after conversion, sending some Indian buyers to the UAE, according to Gulf News. Some shoppers told the outlet the saving still worked after adding flights and visas, particularly when buying more than one phone.

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at AED 5,099 in the UAE, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at AED 5,499. In India, the equivalent starting prices are ₹164,900 and ₹179,900. Those are official starting prices for the 256GB models; storage runs through 512GB, 1TB and 2TB on both phones.

The comparison uses the exchange-rate conversions reported by Gulf News and other Indian outlets. The final saving depends on flights, visa costs, card fees and any import or customs obligations when the buyer returns to India. Gulf News quoted one Mumbai shopper who said he was buying three Pro Max phones and expected to save ₹50,000 to ₹60,000 in total.

Apple’s official announcement confirms that the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max went on sale on 18 September, after pre-orders opened on 12 September. Both models use the A20 Pro chip and add a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. Apple lists four finishes: Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black.

Why Indian shoppers are looking at the iPhone 18 Pro price in Dubai

The UAE is not the cheapest market in every comparison — the US sticker price is lower before local taxes — but Dubai is easier to reach for many Indian travellers and offers official Apple Store stock. The price difference becomes more noticeable when a buyer is purchasing several phones for “family members”, as the shoppers quoted by Gulf News did.

The UAE launch also gives local buyers immediate access through Apple’s regional retail operation. Our iPhone 18 Pro UAE pre-order guide covers the local ordering process, while the iPhone 18 Pro versus iPhone 17 Pro Max comparison looks at the upgrade case for UAE buyers.

Indian shoppers still need to check warranty terms, mobile-network compatibility and India’s customs rules before treating the converted price as their final cost. A lower sticker price is useful; it is not a complete receipt.
