Tesla is rolling out Grok to eligible vehicles in Saudi Arabia and the UAE through software version 2026.32.6, giving drivers hands-free access to navigation, phone calls, media search and climate controls. Tesla says the update is free and began rolling out on September 17.
Tesla Grok UAE rollout covers five models
The assistant is available on eligible Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y and Cybertruck vehicles. Tesla’s Grok support page says owners need Premium Connectivity or a stable Wi-Fi connection, while a Grok account is not currently required.
Tesla says Grok can set destinations, adjust routes, find points of interest, make calls, search for music and podcasts, and adjust the car’s climate system. It can also answer questions using the owner’s manual and explain dashboard alerts. Drivers can launch it from the touchscreen or by holding the steering-wheel microphone button.
The rollout includes selectable personalities such as Assistant, Language Tutor, Therapist, Storyteller, Meditation, Doc and Conspiracy. Children’s options include Kids Story Time and Kids Trivia Game. The available voices include Ara, Eve, Leo, Rex and Sal, because apparently one assistant was not enough.

In the UAE, Tesla says its Model Y Premium is available from AED 174,990, with leasing from AED 3,777. The Model 3 starts at AED 144,990, with leasing from AED 3,155. The Cybertruck is listed from AED 404,990 on Tesla’s UAE order page.

Tesla Grok Saudi Arabia rollout and availability
The same software rollout is available to eligible Tesla vehicles in Saudi Arabia. Tesla’s Saudi Model Y order page currently lists estimated deliveries for April–May 2027, while its Model 3 order page shows the same delivery window.

The Model Y Performance, which was recently added to the Saudi range, starts at SAR 254,990 and is due to begin deliveries in April 2027, according to tbreak’s earlier report. Tesla’s regional rollout gives owners another software feature to wait for alongside the cars themselves.
Tesla says conversations are anonymous to the company and are not linked to the vehicle. Location-related functions require the owner to opt in to precise-location sharing. Tesla also says future features will arrive through over-the-air updates.
