Tesla has opened Saudi Arabian orders for the Model Y Performance, the fastest version of its best-selling electric SUV, from SAR 254,990. It is the fourth Model Y trim on sale in the kingdom, and customer deliveries do not begin until April 2027.

The Performance pairs a 460hp dual-motor powertrain with a 0–100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds and a 250 km/h top speed. Tesla claims 580 km of WLTP range at 16.2 kWh/100 km, which puts it among the most efficient performance EVs on the market.
It is distinguished by 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 forged wheels, red Performance brake calipers, a carbon fibre spoiler and revised front and rear fascias. Inside there are new Performance seats with powered thigh extenders, a 16-inch front touchscreen and a 16-speaker audio system, over the standard panoramic glass roof and 8-inch rear screen.
Tesla has also fitted its in-house adaptive suspension with a new control algorithm, plus customisable drive modes that adjust damping, stability assist and traction from the centre screen. A new Marine Blue paint option is available to Saudi buyers at order time.

The Performance tops a Saudi Model Y range that now runs, per Tesla Saudi Arabia’s configurator:
| Trim | Price (SAR) |
|---|---|
| Model Y RWD | 189,990 |
| Model Y Long Range RWD | 199,990 |
| Model Y Long Range AWD | 219,990 |
| Model Y Performance | 254,990 |
