The previous record pace belonged jointly to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame, which both took 16 days. It crossed $1 billion internationally in 12 days, second only to Endgame, and its opening weekend set domestic and worldwide records ($360 million and $927 million). “effectively refocuses on the most reliable pillars of the webslinger: battling inner turmoil, swinging around NYC saving the day, and looking cool while doing so.”
