G.SKILL has launched the Trident Z5 Royal NeoX, a DDR5 memory series with AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency profiles ranging from DDR5-6000 CL36 to DDR5-6000 CL26.

Trident Z5 Royal NeoX targets AMD builds

The new profile adds extra-tuned memory sub-timings to the overclocking profile. G.SKILL says that can improve latency at the same memory speed, provided the system has a compatible AMD processor, motherboard and BIOS version. The setting is enabled through the motherboard BIOS rather than through a separate application.

G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal NeoX DDR5 memory with AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency

G.SKILL is offering the Royal NeoX line in mirrored silver and gold finishes, with a crystal-style light bar for RGB illumination. The company positions it as a premium option for AMD-based gaming and enthusiast PCs. The specifications cover 32GB, 48GB, 64GB and 96GB kits in the broader Royal Neo range, while the launch announcement does not give a price for any capacity.

The company previously demonstrated the same AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency approach with the Trident Z5 NeoX RGB series at Computex. Its earlier announcement listed DDR5-6000 kits with timings from CL36 down to CL26, and explained that availability and final specifications could change before retail release.

When will Trident Z5 Royal NeoX be available in the UAE?

G.SKILL says the Trident Z5 Royal NeoX will reach markets worldwide in phases through local distributors and retail partners. It has not announced a UAE launch date or AED price, so buyers here will need to check regional retailers once stock begins to appear. The company’s product listings show the existing Royal Neo family, but do not yet provide a Royal NeoX UAE listing.

The release is another sign that memory makers are competing on timings as well as headline transfer rates. For a compatible AMD system, the practical difference will depend on the processor, motherboard and BIOS support rather than the label on the heatsink. G.SKILL’s Computex announcement has the earlier technical details.
