Google is expanding Gemini Daily Brief to users without a paid Google AI subscription, although the feature is still limited to the US and English for now. The rollout is gradual, so eligible users may not see it immediately. Android Authority reported the change, citing a Google announcement and an updated support page.

Gemini Daily Brief is a once-a-day summary built from connected Google services. It can pull together updates from Gmail, Google Calendar and Gemini chats, then organise them into immediate items and longer-term goals.

What Gemini Daily Brief can do

Google says Daily Brief can surface time-sensitive tasks, upcoming events and suggested next steps. Users can chat about an item, mark it complete or dismiss it, with that feedback used to tailor future briefs. The feature is available through the Gemini mobile app, the web app and Gemini Live.

The service requires Personal Intelligence, a personal Google Account, connected Google Workspace apps and Memory. Google also says users must be 18 or older and located in the US. Google’s support page lists those requirements and says the feature is being released gradually.

Gemini Daily Brief availability in the UAE

Gemini Daily Brief is not currently listed as available in the UAE. Google’s support page says access is limited to people in the US and that the rollout will expand gradually. Google has not confirmed a UAE release date.

The free access removes the subscription requirement, but it does not remove the regional restriction. UAE users will need to wait for Google to extend the rollout or confirm local support. Google’s Daily Brief overview says the company plans to bring the feature to more countries and languages.

For now, Gemini Daily Brief is a US-only productivity feature, not a free global release. Its usefulness depends on giving Gemini access to personal data from connected Google services, so the rollout also comes with the usual privacy settings to review before switching it on.
