COLORFUL has launched the iGame X870E VULCAN W OC, an all-white edition of its AM5 flagship motherboard, at a suggested retail price of 3,999 RMB (about US$600).

The VULCAN W OC is a reworked version of the iGame X870E VULCAN OC that arrived earlier this year, refined over six months into a white build: white PCB, white heatsinks and an iridescent finish that shifts colour with the viewing angle and the light. The underlying specification carries over largely unchanged.

Power comes from an 18+2+2-phase 110A DrMOS design on a 10-layer server-grade PCB, cooled by a heat-pipe and fin arrangement that borrows its layout from a graphics card. It joins the new crop of AMD EXPO boards shown at Computex this year.

Two DDR5 slots — a common choice on overclocking boards, where shorter traces beat extra DIMMs — are rated at up to DDR5-10600+ MT/s with Ryzen 8000 processors, DDR5-8800+ with Ryzen 9000 and DDR5-8000+ with Ryzen 7000. Guru3D, which has already reviewed the board, lists the same DDR5 ceiling and the CNY 3,999 price.

For tuning, there is a debug display, a BIOS switch, BCLK adjustment and a one-click overclocking button for people who would rather not do the arithmetic. COLORFUL also includes an X3D AI High Frame Rate mode, adapted for AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, and a 268×800 iGame Smart LCD on the board for system monitoring.

Storage and connectivity cover five M.2 slots (two PCIe 5.0 x4, three PCIe 4.0 x4), nine front-panel USB ports including a USB-C 20Gbps port with 60W Power Delivery, and two USB4 Type-C ports at 40Gbps on the rear panel, both of which handle 4K display output.

It was this board that COLORFUL used to push CXMT-based DDR5 past 9000 MT/s, as Wccftech reported — the same Chinese memory that has been turning up in budget DDR5 kits in the UAE.

iGame X870E VULCAN W OC price and availability

The board is priced at 3,999 RMB, about US$600, and COLORFUL has not said when it ships beyond China. It lands as motherboard sales slide while PC upgrade cycles slow.

COLORFUL hardware is stocked in the UAE — its motherboards appear on noon and at Dubai retailer DXB Gamers — so a local listing is plausible, but regional pricing for the VULCAN W OC has not been confirmed.
