HONOR’s X9e Pro is on open sale in the UAE from today, 30 October, starting at AED 1,499. The bundle differs from the one pre-order buyers got, and that’s the detail worth checking before you commit.
According to HONOR’s pre-order announcement, pre-orders opened on 22 October and set the starting price at AED 1,499. The price hasn’t moved for open sale. The extras around it have. We first covered the phone’s UAE arrival when HONOR confirmed it for the market on 13 October without a price.
Pre-order versus open-sale bundles
Pre-order buyers received a HONOR Watch X5 Play and 12 months of HONOR Care Damage Protection. The open-sale package halves the damage protection to six months and drops the watch. In its place, HONOR adds a HONOR Choice E6i worth AED 149 and AED 100 off the HONOR Select Sound Lite4 Wireless Speaker, which brings its AED 169 list price down to AED 69.
| Pre-order (from 22 October) | Open sale (from 30 October) | |
|---|---|---|
| HONOR Care Damage Protection | 12 months (AED 199) | 6 months |
| HONOR Care Battery Guarantee | 24 months (AED 99) | 24 months |
| Bundled extra | HONOR Watch X5 Play (AED 199) | HONOR Choice E6i (AED 149), AED 100 off the Select Sound Lite4 speaker |
| Warranty across GCC, India, Pakistan and Egypt | Included (AED 149) | Included |
| Existing HONOR X9 series owners | Extra 24-month HONOR Care warranty (AED 99) | Extra 24-month HONOR Care warranty (AED 99) |
All of this sits under HONOR VIP Care+, which HONOR gives to every buyer. The pre-order release put the total added value at AED 646, while the open-sale release doesn’t give a total.
Buyers are also entered into a raffle for the HONOR Robot Phone. HONOR says it’s giving away four units, with winners announced during a weekly livestream.
What the phone offers
The X9e Pro is the first Pro model in the HONOR X Series, and durability is the pitch. HONOR says it survives drops of up to three metres onto smooth marble, and up to 1.2 metres at multiple angles. It credits reinforced corners, metal supports and specialised display adhesives. In its pre-order release, HONOR also cited an SGS Premium Performance 5-Star Drop Resistance Certification, and it labels the drop figures as HONOR lab data.
Water and dust protection is rated IP68, IP69 and IP69K. Under controlled laboratory conditions, HONOR says the phone has been tested for immersion at depths of up to 10 metres. It’s also designed to handle hot-water splashes of up to 85°C. An underwater shooting mode is built in, and the pre-order release adds underwater colour correction.
Power comes from what HONOR calls the industry’s largest smartphone battery: an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon cell. HONOR’s footnotes rate it at 10,510mAh, with 11,000mAh as the typical capacity. In the pre-order release, HONOR claimed up to three days of use under a defined mixed-usage scenario. It also cites a six-year battery durability design and testing at temperatures up to 55°C.
Charging runs at 80W with HONOR SuperCharge, and HONOR’s footnotes say that speed needs an HONOR 80W charger and cable. Wired reverse charging at 27W lets the phone top up other devices. The same capacity also appears on the HONOR Magic9 Super Edition, but the X9e Pro is the one priced at AED 1,499 in the UAE.
The display is a 6.8-inch 1.5K panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. HONOR quotes up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness and calls it the industry’s highest. It also lists a 1-nit ultra-dark mode, plus touch support for wet hands and gloves.
On the camera side, HONOR calls the 108MP main sensor industry-leading and pairs it with CIPA 6.0-level stabilisation that combines OIS and EIS. Cloud-assisted AI imaging refines portraits, night scenes and digital zoom shots. The pre-order release also lists AI FreeGrip for one-handed use, Google Gemini integration and Creative Editor 2.0, which includes an AI image-to-video feature.
If you’re weighing the phone’s real-world endurance and build, our HONOR X9e Pro review covers both. HONOR’s UAE product page is the place to check stock and configurations.
Where can I buy the HONOR X9e Pro in the UAE?
HONOR says it’s on sale now at HONOR Experience Stores, the official HONOR website and retail partners. It comes in Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black, starting at AED 1,499.
How does the HONOR Robot Phone draw work?
HONOR’s release says purchasers of the X9e Pro are entered automatically. HONOR is giving away four units and will announce winners in a weekly livestream, though the release doesn’t publish an end date or full terms.
Can I use the X9e Pro underwater?
HONOR says the phone has been tested for immersion at depths of up to 10 metres under controlled laboratory conditions, and it includes a dedicated underwater shooting mode. Those ratings come from lab tests, so day-to-day wear can still affect seals over time.
