The HUMAIN Horizon Ultra is a Snapdragon X2 Elite laptop with a custom agentic-AI operating system, teased this week ahead of a full reveal at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh (August 31 to September 3). Saudi Arabia’s PIF-backed AI company developed the machine with Qualcomm over the past year, and CEO Tareq Amin has said the hardware is not the most significant part of the product — the operating system is.
Amin posted the first look on X this week, showing the Ultra bearing a Snapdragon X2 Elite badge, though the exact processor SKU remains unannounced. He describes an OS built for an “agentic AI world”, centred on intent rather than traditional apps, running models locally on the device using the chip’s CPU, GPU and NPU.
The teaser shows a silver-grey chassis with HUMAIN branding on the lid, a large ventilation grille, two USB-C ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack, a big trackpad and a bilingual Arabic/Latin keyboard.
A dedicated key bears the company’s logo; its function is unconfirmed, though its placement suggests direct access to HUMAIN’s software — a Copilot key of sorts. HUMAIN previously said the Horizon Ultra would be always-connected with 5G; the teaser does not show it. Display, memory, storage and battery life remain under wraps.

The Ultra follows the Horizon Pro, the Snapdragon X Elite machine HUMAIN unveiled at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit last year with the HUMAIN One OS and ALLAM, an Arabic-first large language model.
When will the HUMAIN Horizon Ultra be revealed?
At LEAP 2026, running 31 August–3 September at RECC Malham in Riyadh. Amin is on the LEAP speaker list, which also includes AMD’s Lisa Su. HUMAIN has not disclosed pricing, availability or a launch timeline; the reveal at LEAP is the reveal.
What it means for the UAE
LEAP is ten days out and a short flight from Dubai — the region’s biggest AI stage, and the natural place for the Gulf’s on-device AI push to show itself. HUMAIN’s Qualcomm relationship extends beyond laptops: the pair is targeting 200 megawatts of AI inference capacity in Saudi Arabia from 2026, per Qualcomm. Pricing and UAE availability for the Ultra have not been announced; the Horizon Pro has no public UAE launch either.
Who makes the HUMAIN Horizon Ultra?
HUMAIN, the Saudi AI company backed by the Public Investment Fund and led by CEO Tareq Amin. The laptop was co-designed with Qualcomm over the past year.
When and where will the HUMAIN Horizon Ultra be revealed?
At LEAP 2026, which runs 31 August to 3 September at RECC Malham in Riyadh. Tareq Amin is on the conference speaker list.
What is agentic AI?
AI that acts on multi-step instructions rather than just answering questions. HUMAIN’s operating system is built around intent instead of traditional apps, and runs models locally on the device using the Snapdragon chip’s CPU, GPU and NPU.
