LIAN LI Edge Platinum V2 power supplies are launching with a new 1350W model that bundles a hub capable of monitoring GPU power-cable temperatures and shutting down a PC if they remain too high. The 1350W unit includes Edge Hub ADV; the 1000W and 1200W versions come with Edge Hub V2. The range starts at $164.99 for Platinum and $99.99 for Gold.
The LIAN LI Edge Platinum V2 family adds a cable-temperature feature to the company’s L-shaped PSU design for dual-chamber PCs. Its product page lists three Platinum wattages, while the Edge Gold V2 page covers 850W and 1000W Gold models.
LIAN LI Edge Platinum V2 prices and models
The launch release lists US prices for the power supplies and both hubs. The 850W Gold V2 is the entry point at $99.99, while the 1350W Platinum V2 costs $259.99. The hubs can also be bought separately, at $21.99 for Edge Hub V2 and $39.99 for Edge Hub ADV.
| Model | Included hub | US price |
|---|---|---|
| Edge Gold V2 850W, black | None | $99.99 |
| Edge Gold V2 1000W, black or white | Edge Hub V2 | $139.99 |
| Edge Platinum V2 1000W, black or white | Edge Hub V2 | $164.99 |
| Edge Platinum V2 1200W, black or white | Edge Hub V2 | $179.99 |
| Edge Platinum V2 1350W, black or white | Edge Hub ADV | $259.99 |
TechPowerUp reported a $129.99 price for the 1000W Gold V2 when LIAN LI showed the PSU family at Computex. The launch release now lists it at $139.99. That is a $10 difference between the earlier preview price and the current stated MSRP.
Edge Hub ADV monitors GPU cable temperature
Edge Hub ADV is the main change in the 1350W Platinum V2 package. NTC sensors track heat on up to two 12V-2×6 GPU cables and inside the hub. LIAN LI says L-Connect 3 can show visual alerts, send email notifications when the user is away, and shut down the computer if a temperature remains above its set threshold for 15 minutes. The 1350W PSU also includes a 12V-2×6 cable with a GPU-side temperature sensor.
The Edge Hub ADV has four USB headers and six PWM fan ports; one USB signal is reserved for GPU temperature monitoring. Edge Hub V2 uses dual hub chips to split USB traffic and exposes per-port bandwidth in L-Connect 3, alongside six PWM fan ports. The ADV’s product page lists an independent PCIe 8-pin power input. TechPowerUp reported on the hub separately in September, before LIAN LI announced the PSU bundles.

The hub sits among a growing set of add-on responses to GPU power-cable heat concerns. Tbreak has covered reported RTX 5090 connector failures and Aqua Computer’s Ampinel cable-monitoring adapter. Edge Hub ADV adds temperature alerts and a shutdown response; the release does not claim that monitoring changes the cable’s electrical design.
L-shaped chassis, modular cables and dust filter
Both PSU ranges use a 182 x 86 x 150 mm L-shaped body, which turns the modular connections towards the side of a dual-chamber case. LIAN LI says the layout is intended to keep cable runs out of the main chamber. The Gold V2 uses flat modular cables with a braided texture, while Platinum V2 cables are individually braided and include cable combs on the motherboard and GPU leads.
Each range includes a 120mm fluid-dynamic-bearing fan and a zero-RPM mode switch. The Gold V2 and Platinum V2 also use removable magnetic dust filters. Platinum models add a cleaning reminder after 360 hours of fan runtime, indicated by a red LED; the 1350W version includes shorter cables for back-connect motherboards and Strimer routing.
The press release lists availability through US retailers including Newegg and Amazon, alongside European retailers. It does not give a UAE price or local launch date, so regional availability remains unconfirmed.
Can I use Edge Hub ADV with a PSU from another brand?
Yes. LIAN LI says Edge Hub ADV works with any ATX 3.1 power supply and can take independent power through a PCIe 8-pin connection, so it does not require the 1350W Edge Platinum V2.
Will Edge Hub ADV monitor a standard 12V-2×6 cable?
Thermal readings require an NTC sensor connected to the hub. The 1350W bundle includes a 12V-2×6 cable with a GPU-side temperature sensor; a standard cable without that sensor will not provide the same readings.
Can Edge Hub V2 help diagnose USB disconnects?
It reports per-port USB bandwidth in L-Connect 3, which can help identify a heavily loaded hub when internal displays or other USB-controlled devices drop their signal. It cannot repair a faulty peripheral or cable.
Does Edge Hub ADV guarantee that a GPU power connector cannot fail?
No. LIAN LI describes temperature monitoring, alerts and an automatic shutdown response, not a redesign of the GPU connector or a guarantee against every failure. Correct cable seating and component compatibility still matter.
