The Fitbit Edge leak shows a screen-equipped Google fitness band with Google Maps, media controls, phone notifications and up to seven days of battery life. Google has not announced the device. Android Headlines reported the retail-material leak. 9to5Google’s report details a comparison graphic supplied with those materials.

The leaked renders show an oval-screen tracker with removable bands; the comparison graphic labels it Google Fitbit Edge. The same device appeared in Pixel 11 promotional material in August, before our earlier report on Google’s unidentified tracker covered it as an unnamed device.
Fitbit Edge leak: apps and battery life
The comparison graphic lists Bluetooth connectivity, notifications, Google Maps, media and music controls, Find My Phone, Android and iOS compatibility, and battery life of up to seven days. It does not list Wi-Fi. Android Headlines also reports built-in GPS, an altimeter and automatic activity recognition. Those details remain leak claims, not confirmed specifications.
The listed tools point to a fitness band with a small set of wrist functions rather than a full smartwatch app catalogue. The materials do not identify an operating system or confirm whether more apps will be available.
Fitbit Edge: a middle option, if the leak holds
Google last updated the Charge line with the Fitbit Charge 6 in 2023, according to the reporting. A screen and notifications would separate the Fitbit Edge from the screenless Fitbit Air, while its reported seven-day battery target sits closer to a tracker than a full smartwatch. Read our Fitbit Air coverage for Google’s screenless alternative, and see our UAE fitness tracker guide for products with confirmed local availability.
Android Headlines expects a launch in October and estimates a US price of $149 to $199. The outlet labels that range as its own guess based on earlier Charge pricing; neither the price nor launch timing appears as confirmed Google information. Google has not announced a UAE price or availability date.

Does the Fitbit Edge leak show a full smartwatch?
No. The comparison lists a small collection of controls and utilities, but not an operating system or app store. Without those details or official specifications, there is no basis to treat “Apps” as a full smartwatch platform.
Is Fitbit Edge a confirmed replacement for Fitbit Charge 6?
No. The reporting describes it as Charge-style and points to Charge 6 being last updated in 2023; Google has not said Edge replaces or succeeds the line. The product name comes from leaked retail material.
