ChatGPT ranked fifth among the most visited websites worldwide in June 2026, with 5.32 billion estimated web visits in OneLittleWeb’s analysis of 10,171 sites.
The ranking puts ChatGPT behind Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and just ahead of Reddit at 5.08 billion visits. Google remained first with 98.19 billion visits, while YouTube recorded 52.22 billion.
ChatGPT most visited website ranking puts AI beside the old giants
OneLittleWeb compiled the ranking using estimated traffic data from Ahrefs and Semrush. ChatGPT accounted for 1.88% of the tracked traffic, according to the analysis, while Google accounted for 34.62%.
This is a web ranking, not a measure of total use across mobile apps. It also does not show that ChatGPT has overtaken Google: the search engine recorded roughly 18.5 times as many visits in the same month.
ChatGPT’s June total was listed as 5.53% lower than the previous month. The same table puts X eighth with 3.96 billion visits, Gmail ninth with 3.49 billion, and WhatsApp tenth with 2.72 billion.
What the website ranking says about AI use
ChatGPT is the only AI-native service in the ranking’s top five. Gemini appears later in the full list, with OneLittleWeb’s separate chatbot table putting it at 1.14 billion visits for June.
The figures show how large ChatGPT’s web destination has become, but they do not explain why people visited or how many were unique users. A visit count is a measure of traffic, not a user count. The ChatGPT most visited website ranking measures visits, not the number of people behind them.
