Xiaomi’s cars no longer need a grey-market importer to reach UAE driveways. Gargash Prime Automotive now sells the SU7 electric sedan, the YU7 electric SUV and the SkyNomad range-extender SUV with UAE pricing, a local warranty and a service package, and bookings are already open. The SU7 starts at AED 169,900, the YU7 at AED 184,900 and the SkyNomad at AED 209,900.

Gargash Prime is the new premium arm of the Gargash Group, which has been in UAE business since 1918 and has represented Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo and GAC over the years.

Warranty, delivery dates and leasing

Every Xiaomi car sold through Gargash Prime comes with a warranty of up to five years or 150,000 km and servicing of up to 60,000 km. Until now, UAE buyers who wanted an SU7 or YU7 had to import one privately or buy from a grey-market dealer, which meant no local warranty and no official service network.

Don’t expect keys this week, though. The cars are built to order, and only the entry trims of each model, plus the SU7 Ultra and two SkyNomad N90 versions, are listed for December 2026. Everything else sits on a pre-order waitlist for February 2027. You can book online or at the Gargash Prime booth in Etihad Mall, Al Khawaneej, Dubai, and the company warns that early allocations are limited.

If you’d rather not own a Chinese EV outright and worry about its resale value, Gargash Prime also leases all three. Monthly plans start at AED 3,899 for the SU7 Standard, AED 4,199 for the YU7 Standard and AED 4,699 for the SkyNomad N70 Pro.

The line-up covers 13 trims, from a rear-drive SU7 to the 1,548hp SU7 Ultra. All range figures use China’s CLTC test cycle, and CLTC figures run well ahead of what you’ll see on a UAE motorway in August, so treat them as a ceiling.

The SU7 and YU7 entry models share a 73 kWh LFP battery on an 800V platform, which Gargash Prime says charges from 30 to 80 percent in about 18 minutes on the SU7 and about 20 minutes on the YU7 at a fast DC charger. Both get Xiaomi’s HAD driver assistance with lidar, the HyperOS cabin and over-the-air updates.

The SkyNomad is the odd one out. It pairs a 52 kWh battery with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that only generates electricity, so the wheels are always electrically driven, but you never have to plan a trip around chargers. The N70 Pro also carries a roof-mounted lidar and a 700 TOPS Thor-U chip for its driver assistance.

How the prices stack up

At AED 169,900, the SU7 Standard lands well below most premium European EVs and undercuts the XPENG X9 at AED 297,000, although that is a seven-seat MPV rather than a sports sedan. The YU7 GT, with just over 1,000hp for AED 299,900, puts supercar acceleration at a price closer to a well-specced German SUV. For Xiaomi, the UAE launch is the next step in a car business it has bankrolled heavily, alongside its multi-billion-dollar push into AI across phones and EVs. Whether it lands with UAE buyers will depend less on the spec sheet and more on how Gargash Prime handles servicing once the first cars arrive in December.

Where can I buy a Xiaomi car in the UAE?

You can book one through the Gargash Prime Automotive website or at its booth in Etihad Mall, Al Khawaneej, Dubai. Gargash Prime also offers leasing on all three models.

When will the first Xiaomi cars be delivered in the UAE?

The SU7 Standard, SU7 Ultra, YU7 Standard, SkyNomad N70 Pro and SkyNomad N90 versions are listed for December 2026. The remaining trims are on a pre-order waitlist for February 2027.

What warranty do Xiaomi cars get in the UAE?

Cars bought through Gargash Prime come with a warranty of up to five years or 150,000 km and servicing of up to 60,000 km, which grey-market imports don’t get.
