Al-Futtaim has launched the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 in the UAE, bringing a 6.4L HEMI V8 back to the Jeep Dubai and Northern Emirates range under a new nameplate. The distributor says it continues the story of the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Rubicon 392 Final Edition, so this is the next V8 Wrangler rather than a different kind of Jeep.

The engine is the headline. It produces 470 HP and 637 Nm of torque, and Al-Futtaim pitches the V8 soundtrack as much as the output. Carlos Montenegro, Managing Director of Trading Enterprises at Al-Futtaim, said the company wants to carry forward the excitement the Rubicon 392 brought to the UAE when it arrived in 2021.

Off-road hardware

The V8 sits on a drivetrain built for trails. It pairs a 4.56 axle ratio with a 2.72:1 Selec-Trac full-time transfer case and a two-mode dual exhaust. Underneath, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels carry 35-inch all-terrain tyres, giving the Wrangler the ground clearance and grip dune and wadi driving rewards.

The name comes from Moab, Utah, the off-road destination Al-Futtaim describes as having a deep link to the Jeep community. Al-Futtaim says the Moab 392 is designed to move from daily driving to demanding terrain without fuss, and the release frames the UAE’s deserts and mountains as the local equivalent.

Equipment

Al-Futtaim lists a body-colour hardtop, rock protection sill rails, mould-in-colour fender flares and black tow hooks on the outside. Inside, the Wrangler gets heated black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, an Alpine audio system and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation. That mix of rock-ready hardware and a comfortable cabin is what the company expects UAE buyers to want from a V8 Wrangler they’ll also use on the school run.

How it compares abroad

The release doesn’t give a UAE price or an on-sale date. In the US, CarBuzz reports the Moab 392 starts at USD 79,995 before a USD 1,995 destination charge, and that Jeep last used the Moab name for the 2019 model year. KBB reports the US Moab 392 undercuts the Rubicon 392, which started at USD 102,585, by roughly USD 20,000. UAE pricing may differ, so check with Al-Futtaim before assuming the same positioning.

Where is the Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 sold in the UAE?

Al-Futtaim is the official Jeep distributor in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and its release covers that territory. It doesn’t mention Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia or Egypt.
