AGMC, Geely’s UAE distributor, launched the Geely Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid SUV, with up to 410 hp and 1,095 km of combined range (NEDC).
AGMC quotes up to 130 km of electric-only driving, and a DC charger takes the battery from 30% to 80% in about 15 minutes. On AC, a 25-100% charge takes about 4.2 hours. The car can also power other devices through 6.6 kW of vehicle-to-load power.
Those numbers come with two caveats. They’re NEDC figures rather than real-world results, and most apply to the higher-output configuration, with its three-motor system and intelligent e-AWD. In that version, the Monjaro EM-i reaches 0-100 km/h in about 5.83 seconds and uses a combined 6.2 L/100 km at a low battery state of charge. AGMC hasn’t shared specs for the lower-output version, nor the battery size, trim list, price, or on-sale date.

Under the bonnet, Geely’s E-Motive Intelligence (EM-i) system pairs an engine with 46.5% thermal efficiency with an 11-in-1 E-DHT hybrid drive rated at up to 92.5% efficiency.
Inside, there’s a 15.4-inch central display, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and four-zone voice control. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in 4G, over-the-air updates, and 15W wireless charging are standard, and the gear selector moves to the steering column. Selected variants add a 25.6-inch windscreen head-up display and a 16-speaker FLYME SOUND system with headrest speakers. They also get front-seat massage and a front passenger seat that reclines nearly flat, plus ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety, the Monjaro EM-i carries 16 driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind spot detection. A 540-degree panoramic camera adds a transparent chassis view.
The Monjaro EM-i is the latest addition to Geely’s new energy line-up in the UAE. It joins the EX5 EM-i, Geely’s other EM-i plug-in hybrid, with 317 hp and 1,065 km of range from AED 89,900. It follows AGMC’s earlier Starray 4WD launch, and our Geely UAE buying guide covers the rest of the range.
