Retroid has named its upcoming dual-screen handheld the Retroid Pocket Duo, but the company has not shared its specifications, price or release date. The teaser presents it as a modern Nintendo DS-style device, with the details still kept behind the curtain.

Retroid Pocket Duo design remains mostly hidden

The short official teaser video gives only a dark glimpse of the finished handheld. The top half appears to use rounded corners and uneven bezels, while the lower screen and controls remain out of view. Notebookcheck’s first look likewise notes that the second display and button layout have not been shown.

Retroid already sells a Dual Screen Add-on for some of its handhelds, but the Pocket Duo appears to be a cable-free, clip-free design rather than an accessory attached to another console. The company has not confirmed the screens, processor, speakers or ports, so those details remain speculation.

No price or UAE release details yet

Retroid has not announced a price or launch date. Engadget places the expected device in a growing group of dual-screen Android handhelds, alongside products such as the Ayn Thor and Ayaneo Pocket DS, but there is no confirmed UAE price or availability for the Pocket Duo.

The company may reveal more details closer to launch. For now, the Pocket Duo is a named product with a teaser, not a shopping list.
