HP has formally announced the OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16, two thin laptops built around NVIDIA RTX Spark for local AI, creative work and gaming. The official HP announcement says the machines are due this autumn, but pricing and UAE availability have not been announced.
HP OmniBook RTX Spark laptops bring local AI to thin designs
The OmniBook Ultra 16 is aimed at developers, creators, gamers and other users working on demanding AI projects. HP says configurations can reach 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, allowing larger open-source and open-weight models to run locally. The laptop also uses HP’s tower hinge and trunk architecture, larger heat pipes and dual thin fans to support sustained workloads.
The 16-inch Ultra 16 has a 3K OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, quad speakers and a 99Wh battery rated for up to 17 hours. HP says it can recharge to 50 per cent in about 30 minutes using fast charging.
OmniBook X 14 prioritises portability
The OmniBook X 14 brings the same HP OmniBook RTX Spark focus to HP’s thinner, lighter OmniBook X range. It is designed for creators, developers and AI enthusiasts who want local AI tools, RTX graphics and everyday productivity in a more portable form factor.
HP says the X 14 has a premium OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, up to 15 hours of battery life and a 140W USB-C GaN adapter. The adapter can recharge the laptop to 50 per cent in roughly 30 minutes.
Pricing and availability remain unconfirmed
HP expects the OmniBook Ultra 16 to arrive at HP.com and Best Buy this autumn. The OmniBook X 14 is also expected at HP.com and other retailers during the same period. HP has not provided pricing, a specific release date or UAE availability for either model.
HP also provided more details about the upcoming OmniDesk, a compact RTX Spark desktop intended for long-running local AI agents and tasks. Its pricing, full specifications and availability will be shared later. HP first previewed the platform in its Computex announcement.
