Konami wants annual Silent Hill games, and Video Games Chronicle reports it is already working on “many” unannounced projects to make that happen.
The plan comes from franchise producer Motoi Okamoto, speaking during Gamescom 2026.

An annual cadence means several games in development at once, which Okamoto says is already underway.
“There are still many projects that are still under the works and very unannounced titles,” he told GamesRadar+. “So obviously, we can’t go into specifics. But there are still many projects that we are currently exploring and working on as we speak.”
The series is also moving away from its original American setting on purpose. Townfall takes place in Scotland, and earlier entries in the revival have visited Japan. “If we stay laser-focused on the same American setting, that would exhaust [narrative] possibilities, and also potentially cause fatigue for the playerbase,” Okamoto said.

Next up is Silent Hill: Townfall, out on September 24. Konami showed nearly 20 minutes of fresh gameplay this month, and previews have been kind.
Konami has promised a busy Silent Hill before. Silent Hills, its 2015 collaboration with Hideo Kojima, was cancelled with only a playable teaser to show for it. Annual is the plan; the schedule is another matter.
