Which Ubisoft Xbox games include a free PC version?
Xbox says 13 digital Ubisoft games on console qualify for a PC version through Ubisoft Connect at no additional cost.
The eligible catalogue covers entries from Assassin’s Creed, The Crew, Rainbow Six, and several other Ubisoft series. The offer expressly applies to digital Xbox console versions; Xbox Wire’s July 27 announcement does not address physical copies.

The entitlement is one-way. Owning an eligible PC version through Ubisoft Connect does not provide the corresponding Xbox console version.
How do existing owners receive the Ubisoft PC copies?
Existing digital owners should update Ubisoft Connect PC and look for the entitled game in their library during the rollout ending August 4.
Xbox does not describe a separate redemption code or manual claim process. It says the PC version will be delivered progressively, so eligible games may appear at different points before the rollout finishes.
Once a game appears, Ubisoft Connect PC displays the edition associated with the account. Its Properties page also provides a breakdown of the DLC and add-on content owned on PC.
Customers buying an eligible digital Xbox console version from July 27 onward are treated differently. Xbox says those purchases immediately include both the Xbox console and Xbox on PC digital versions.
Do editions, DLC, and Rainbow Six Siege content transfer?
Xbox says editions and DLC transfer for most eligible games, but currencies and other consumable items may be excluded.
The exceptions include in-game currency and one-time-use content. Players should inspect the game’s Properties page in Ubisoft Connect rather than assume every console add-on has moved across.
Rainbow Six Siege is one of the 13 eligible games, but the announcement does not make the game universally free. It provides a PC copy to qualifying owners of its digital Xbox console version.
Separately, Xbox says it has expanded the Ubisoft catalogue in the Xbox PC app with more premium editions and selected add-on content. Highlighted games include Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, alongside titles from Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew, and Watch Dogs. Currencies and consumables are excluded from this expanded add-on offering.
