The Mummy 4 set photos show Brendan Fraser back as Rick O’Connell, filming a record-speed-trials sequence in Suffolk, England. Page Six’s gallery of the new images shows Fraser in a dark jacket and crash helmet beside a silver-and-red rocket car. The photos were taken at a former military base on Monday, 28 September, according to the outlet.

IGN’s report identifies Fraser as Rick, while People describes the scene as a 1957 speed-trials sequence. Together with the period clothes, that suggests a mid-century sequence; it is a detail of this shoot, not a plot summary.

Polygon notes that some of the driving pictures may show Fraser’s stunt double, so the photos do not establish how much of the scene he drove himself. People also reports that extras wore “Rick O’Connell Racing” tracksuits.

The new images add Fraser to the set coverage after Rachel Weisz was photographed as Evelyn O’Connell outside London’s British Museum. The two actors last played Rick and Evelyn together in 2001’s The Mummy Returns.

Weisz was not in 2008’s The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, where Maria Bello took over as Evelyn. Our earlier report covered Weisz’s first set photos.

The Mummy 4 cast and release date

Fraser and Weisz are returning alongside John Hannah, Oded Fehr and Kevin J. O’Connor, according to People’s cast report. The film is due in cinemas on 15 October 2027, after its release date moved forward from May 2028.
