Primark will open a second floor at its Mall of the Emirates store in Dubai in November 2026, with larger menswear and Primark Home, as it locks in first-store dates for Bahrain and Qatar with Alshaya Group.
According to TradeArabia, City Centre Bahrain opens on 23 September 2026 and Doha Festival City on 29 October 2026. The MoE upper floor is listed for November without a calendar day.
Mall of the Emirates expansion and what shoppers get
The Mall of the Emirates store already trades on the ground floor. The November phase adds a second floor with a significantly larger menswear and Primark Home offer, while the first floor gains capacity for wider selection across womenswear, kidswear, accessories and beauty.
Retail & Leisure International carries the same company statement on the three dates. That gives Dubai shoppers a practical reason to revisit MoE once the upper level opens, after the brand’s spring 2026 Dubai rollout.

Bahrain and Qatar opening dates
Bahrain’s first Primark is at City Centre Bahrain on 23 September 2026. Qatar’s first is at Doha Festival City on 29 October 2026. Both are framed as first-market debuts under the Alshaya partnership, with opening-day entertainment, giveaways and activations described in the company statement.
Ghansham Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East, said: “We’re incredibly excited to introduce the Primark experience to customers in Bahrain and Qatar for the very first time. These openings are more than just launching new stores; they’re about creating exciting destinations where customers can discover fashion, beauty and homeware at exceptional value.”
Looking further ahead, the same statement points to 2027 openings at Aventura Mall in Kuwait and a second Qatar store at Villaggio Mall. No day-month dates were given for those.
