Abu Dhabi has set up a company to sell its government services platform abroad. The Department of Government Enablement (DGE) announced on 16 October the creation of Abu Dhabi Digital Services Company TAMM Global, following directives from Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
The idea is to let other governments skip the build phase. Gulf News reports that TAMM Global will license the platform architecture and the implementation methods Abu Dhabi used to run TAMM at scale. Governments get pre-built services, service journeys, and digital capabilities they can adapt to their own laws, regulations, and operating requirements. As an independent private-sector company, TAMM Global can partner directly with governments, organisations and institutions.
TAMM Global’s remit extends beyond exporting, though. Under its founding law, the company will own and operate digital services platforms, manage and develop TAMM itself, and hold the intellectual property tied to them. It will also run research and training programmes for Emirati talent, build partnerships, and invest in the sector in the UAE and abroad. The National describes it as a vehicle to export the emirate’s AI-powered unified platform to international markets.
The pitch rests on TAMM’s domestic record. DGE says the platform brings together more than 1,200 public and private sector services in one gateway. It also says each user saves about nine visits to service centres a year, roughly 12 hours, and that customer satisfaction reached 94.5 per cent, up from 78 per cent in 2022, before AI was added to the app. DGE adds that TAMM has cut service delivery costs by 30 per cent.
DGE chairman Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab framed the move as building on that success. “We are building on that success by making capabilities developed and proven effective and efficient in Abu Dhabi available to governments,” he said. DGE ties the launch to Abu Dhabi’s stated aim of becoming the world’s first AI-native government, and cites two awards: the 2025 WSIS Prizes for best e-Government initiative, and the Government category in the 2026 Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
DGE hasn’t named any customer governments, licensing terms or a rollout timeline.

DGE says the company can partner directly with governments, organisations and institutions worldwide. It hasn’t said which countries or clients are lined up.

No. DGE hasn’t asked users to take any action, and the company’s remit includes running and developing TAMM itself.
