NVIDIA RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell specs and positioning
The RTX PRO 5500 uses the GB202 GPU and a 416-bit memory bus, delivering approximately 1,398GB/s of bandwidth. NVIDIA says the card is aimed at agentic AI, physical simulation and graphics workloads, with fifth-generation Tensor Cores, fourth-generation RT Cores and ninth-generation NVENC video encoders.
Its 84GB capacity puts it closer to the RTX PRO 6000 than the RTX PRO 5000 in NVIDIA’s range. The RTX PRO 6000 has 96GB and 24,064 CUDA cores, while the RTX PRO 5000 has up to 72GB and 14,080 CUDA cores.
Rack-mounted GPU deployment, coming soon
NVIDIA is offering air- and liquid-cooled versions for rack-mounted workstation systems. Multi-Instance GPU support can divide the card into two isolated instances, each with up to 42GB of memory.
NVIDIA’s US product page lists the RTX PRO 5500 as coming soon and invites customers to sign up for availability alerts. There is no UAE price or launch date on the company’s regional information currently available, so local workstation builders will need to wait for channel listings.

The card has the same CUDA core count as the GeForce RTX 5090, but it is designed for certified professional workloads and carries substantially more memory.
