Jacksepticeye has joined Hitman World of Assassination as its newest Elusive Target, and you can hunt him for free until 25 November. IO Interactive revealed the content creator as the next target, and the limited-time assassination runs until 25 November 2026. In an interview with IGN, the creator, real name Seán McLoughlin, explained how the collaboration came together and gave an update on the Bloodborne film he’s producing.

Who is The Host?
He isn’t playing himself. According to Final Weapon, McLoughlin lends both his likeness and voice to Finn Colton, the mission’s brand-new character, and the story is set in Hawke’s Bay. To play the mission, you need access to the Hawke’s Bay location. The setup is a darkly comic look at Colton’s bizarre content empire.
Jacksepticeye told IGN he asked for a “flanderized” take on content creators in general, especially the so-called manosphere crowd, rather than a version of himself. “You will want to shoot me in the head immediately,” he said. He also said the writing leans on current internet slang, and that hearing Agent 47 actor David Bateson deliver a “looksmaxing” line is part of the joke.
Here’s the announcement trailer:
How it came together
Jacksepticeye said IO Interactive had floated the idea for roughly a year, but schedules never lined up, partly because the studio was busy finishing 007 First Light. He agreed a few months ago and recorded his lines about a month before release. The mission reuses an existing level, which he said sped up production. He added that the team changed some lines on the fly during recording, and that the speed and modularity of the work surprised him.
It’s his second role for the studio. He recently appeared in 007 First Light. He described that part as a cloakroom attendant, and said the studio scanned him for it. The Hitman character wasn’t built from a scan: he said a fan at the studio modelled him by hand.
What else is in the update
The Host arrives with a new roadmap that adds a challenge, Featured Contracts and a Twitch Drop. The Elusive Targets The Pharmacist, The Warlord and The Entertainer also return. A new Special Assignment with five challenges is also available. GamingBible reports that the Host Pack DLC is available now on all platforms except Nintendo, where it arrives on Switch and Switch 2 on 10 November, and costs USD 7.99, EUR 7.99 or GBP 6.99. We haven’t found UAE pricing for the pack.
Bloodborne and beyond
Elsewhere in the interview, Jacksepticeye said the animated Bloodborne film is “much more along the pipeline” than when it was announced nearly a year ago. He said people are now in place to make it, and he hopes announcements about who’s involved will come “sooner than later”. He argued animation suits the game’s otherworldly elements better than live action. On Hitman, he said he’s open to adaptations but doesn’t think he’s the right person to write one. He also said he’d return as Punch Up if the team behind Dispatch ever asks.
Is the Jacksepticeye Elusive Target free?
IGN reports the character is added to the game for free from 29 October. The mission runs until 25 November 2026, and you need access to the Hawke’s Bay location to play it. The separate Host Pack DLC is paid.
When does The Host come to Nintendo Switch?
GamingBible says the Host Pack DLC reaches Switch and Switch 2 on 10 November. It’s already out on the other platforms.
Who plays Agent 47 in the mission?
David Bateson, who voices Agent 47 in the series. Jacksepticeye told IGN that hearing Bateson react to the mission’s internet slang is one of the funniest parts of the writing.
