Plaud One earbuds mark the AI note-taking brand’s move into wireless audio. TechCrunch reports that the company, best known for the Note and Note Pro voice recorders, is taking preorders for the Plaud One at $249 (about AED 915), with shipping in the fourth quarter of 2026. The selling point is the case: it has an eSIM, so it can record in-person conversations and talk to Plaud’s AI agents without a phone or computer nearby.
The earbuds are white stem-style buds in the mould of Apple’s AirPods — a deliberate choice, since the company wants something people will actually wear. They record calls, while the case records meetings or takes notes on its own, with Plaud claiming clear voice capture within five metres. Specs: 12mm drivers, active noise cancellation, six hours of meeting recording (or three hours of calls) per charge, rising to 25 hours with the case.
Plaud One earbuds: what the AI agent does
Once a conversation is transcribed, Plaud’s AI agent can connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion and Slack to draft follow-up emails, create documents or build presentations. The eSIM in the case is what makes that hands-free: you can instruct the agent by voice from anywhere, without reaching for your phone.

Plaud is not first to the form factor. Viaim and Anker already sell note-taking earbuds, and software rivals such as Granola, Fathom and Read AI have offered the same workflow automation for a while. Plaud’s answer is its software and the scale behind it: more than 2.5 million users, and a claim from June of $100 million in annual run-rate revenue.
Buyers get 300 minutes of free transcription a month, then paid plans from $8.33 a month (paid annually). An agentic update is due in the coming months, with a credit-based system for different tasks and $200 in credits for Plaud One buyers. The launch is deliberately limited in quantity while Plaud gauges demand for AI-focused earbuds.
