Tom Holland stands to make over $100 million from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to TheWrap, which cites three people with knowledge of the actor’s deal — a report IGN carried as the film’s record-breaking run continued. TheWrap puts his base salary at $20–25 million up front — roughly double the $10 million he banked for No Way Home — with a backend bonus that has no ceiling.

The film crossed $2 billion worldwide in its third weekend, and one of TheWrap’s sources was blunt about what that means for Holland:

“He will make at least” $100 million, said the individual, who declined to say how high the payday might soar.

Sony Pictures declined to comment on cast salaries; representatives for Holland did not respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

How Much Does Tom Holland Earn From Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

Holland’s Spider-Man fees have climbed with the franchise’s grosses:

FilmYearReported pay
Captain America: Civil War2016$250,000
Spider-Man: Homecoming2017$500,000
Spider-Man: Far From Home2019$4 million
Spider-Man: No Way Home2021$10 million
Spider-Man: Brand New Day2026$20–25 million base, uncapped backend

Peter Parker has spent decades being short of cash in the comics; his actor has gone the other way. His original six-picture deal expired with No Way Home, so Brand New Day was a fresh negotiation — handled by WME agents Andrew Dunlap, James Farrell and Liam Buckley, and lawyer Robert Offer — and it required what TheWrap calls a significant raise.

The Payday That the Box Office Built

Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossed $2 billion worldwide in three weeks, a first for the franchise. It opened to a record $360 million domestically and $932 million globally, cleared $1 billion in six days, and was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

The payday also lands on top of Holland’s fee for The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s $1 billion hit, which makes 2026 a two-for-two year for the actor. The industry is drawing the obvious comparison: “He’s the new Robert Downey Jr.,” one top media mogul told TheWrap.

Holland, Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Sony’s Tom Rothman have all said they want the run to continue beyond Brand New Day. Whether further films are contracted — or whether the next deal begins with another renegotiation — is not clear. If the film keeps printing money, so does he.

The movie is still in UAE cinemas: Reel Cinemas is carrying it in Dolby and ScreenX through late August, and VOX has it on its now-showing list.
