September is a full month on TOD. beIN’s streaming service has three new Egyptian films arriving on consecutive Thursdays, second seasons of Mobland and Outlander: Blood of My Blood, and a sports calendar that includes the Champions League’s opening matchday, the final week of the US Open, and derbies in Manchester and Madrid. Here’s the complete rundown, with dates.
New Arabic movies and series
Tag (3 September) — Tamer Hosny and Dina El Sherbiny lead this action comedy about a music teacher who develops superpowers, tries his best to keep them quiet, and then finds the public rather needs him.
El Hareefa (10 September) — Nour Ehab and Bayoumi Fouad star in a comedy-drama about Majed, forced out of his comfortable life and his private school into a public one, where his football skills slowly win over his new classmates.
Maksoum (17 September) — Layla Olwi and Sarah Abdulrahman play former university bandmates whose 90s friendship fell apart over personal differences — and who can barely stand each other now.
Etneen Gherna (24 September) — A new 15-episode drama from UMS, dropping all at once. Asser Yassin plays a reclusive schoolteacher whose life changes when he crosses paths with a famous actress in crisis, played by Dina El Sherbiny, in her second TOD appearance this month.

The Housemaid (20 September) — Paul Feig’s thriller stars Sydney Sweeney as Millie, a struggling young woman who takes a live-in job with a wealthy couple (Amanda Seyfried plays the wife) and finds herself pulled into a house of secrets and escalating psychological games.
Good Fortune (25 September) — Aziz Ansari writes, directs and stars alongside Seth Rogen in this comedy about a well-meaning but hopeless angel — Keanu Reeves, wings and all — who meddles in the lives of a gig worker and a venture capitalist.

Magpie Murders: Marble Hall Murders — Season 3 (11 September, weekly) — Lesley Manville returns as editor Susan Ryeland for six episodes, drawn into a new mystery when the latest Atticus Pünd novel starts pointing at a suspicious real-world death.
Mobland — Season 2 (19 September, weekly) — Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan are back for ten episodes as the Harrigan family’s criminal empire faces new threats from outside and rising tension within.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood — Season 2 (20 September, weekly) — The Outlander prequel returns for ten episodes, following two couples across World War I battlefields and the 18th-century Highlands.
American Hostage (24 September, weekly) — A new eight-part crime drama with Jonathan Tucker and Mireille Enos, based on the true story of Indianapolis radio reporter Fred Heckman, pulled into a live crisis when a hostage-taker demands to be interviewed on air.
Collections and catch-up
The Fall Collection gathers Memory, Little Women, Twilight, The Outrun, Coup de Chance, Four Letters of Love, Fantasy Life, Friendship, Sometimes I Think About Dying and The Sparrow.
Resident Evil gets its own row: all six Milla Jovovich films, plus Welcome to Raccoon City and the animated Vendetta.
On TOD’s Star channels, the pick of the month: Code Name Banshee (4 September), Alien Nation and 10 Things I Hate About You (both 6 September), Twilight (7 September), The Enforcer (11 September), Flight of the Phoenix and Gifted (both 20 September) and Enemy of the State (29 September). Star World adds Mark Moriarty — Cook Like a Chef (5 September) and Britain’s Got Talent season 19 (13 September).
Kids
The month starts strong on 1 September with three Arabic exclusives: Wild Kratts season 6 on Jeem, and FAFA World season 2 and Teela Toola season 11 on Baraem. A Back to School collection rounds up the likes of Sofia the First, Ariel, Dora and Friends, Azuro and Yetili.
On the Disney side, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ arrives on 9 September, with Spidey and His Amazing Friends season 5 and new episodes of Kiff following on 22 September.
Sports: football
The 2026/27 season settles into rhythm this month across the Premier League, LaLiga, Ligue 1 and the Süper Lig. The dates to circle:
- 6 September: Arsenal vs Chelsea; Valencia vs Barcelona
- 13 September: Manchester United vs Manchester City
- 20 September: Atlético Madrid vs Real Madrid; Sevilla vs Barcelona; Marseille vs PSG; Trabzonspor vs Galatasaray

From 24 September, the international break takes over with the UEFA Nations League. Highlights include Netherlands vs Germany and Portugal vs Wales (24 September), Italy vs Belgium and Türkiye vs France (25 September), England vs Spain (26 September), Belgium vs France (28 September), and Czechia vs England and Spain vs Croatia (29 September).
Sports: everything else
The US Open runs to 13 September, with three main courts in HD and Arthur Ashe in HDR exclusively on TOD. Tennis continues with the Davis Cup second-round qualifiers (18–20 September), the Billie Jean King Cup Final (22–27 September), the Laver Cup (25–27 September) and the China and Japan Opens starting 30 September.
Formula 1 has three race weekends: the Italian GP (4–6 September), the Spanish GP (11–13 September) and the Azerbaijan GP (24–26 September).
Premier Padel wraps the Madrid P1 on 6 September before the Paris Major (7–13 September) and the Rotterdam P2 from 28 September.
