Tomatini Sorbet: LPM Abu Dhabi’s Summer Dessert Is AED 55

LPM Abu Dhabi has turned its Tomatini cocktail into a summer sorbet — AED 55, non-alcoholic, and on the menu now at The Galleria Al Maryah Island.

LPM Abu Dhabi has turned its signature Tomatini cocktail into a dessert. The Tomatini Sorbet, created with Michelin-starred chef Danny Khezzar, has been on the menu at The Galleria Al Maryah Island since 21 July, priced at AED 55.

The restaurant’s own announcement frames it as a question: “What if Tomatini became a dessert?” The Tomatini is LPM’s most recognisable serve — a tomato-forward martini that has built a following of its own over the years. The sorbet keeps the flavour and leaves the alcohol behind: ripe vine tomatoes, white balsamic vinegar and tomato vinegar, worked into something light enough for August in Abu Dhabi.

It arrives with French toast brioche topped with tomato confit and basil — savoury company for a cold dessert. The combination was first shown during LPM’s Tomatini Week, and has now rolled out across the brand’s Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Riyadh restaurants.

The sorbet is LPM’s non-alcoholic answer to its own cocktail — the same bright tomato flavour without the spirit, which makes it one of the more unusual sober-friendly desserts in the capital. It suits the terrace crowd as much as the after-dinner table.

It is a limited summer run, so the window is the point. LPM Abu Dhabi is the Riviera-in-exile of the city’s dining scene — bougainvillea, olive trees, bright art — and its terrace at The Galleria Al Maryah Island looks across the water as the sun sets. Tables go through the reservation page. Diners in Dubai pay the same AED 55; Doha and Riyadh get their own prices (QAR 70 and SAR 65).

The sorbet joins a busy summer for UAE dining, which has recently gained OTHER in Dar Al Wasl and Window at Alserkal Avenue.
