Hakkasan Dubai Reopens at Atlantis The Palm with a Refreshed Menu

Hakkasan Dubai has reopened at Atlantis The Palm after a summer refurbishment, bringing back its Michelin-starred Cantonese menu with a new lounge, refreshed dining room and dishes made specifically for the Dubai venue.

The Hakkasan Dubai reopening follows a temporary summer closure at Atlantis The Palm. The restaurant was scheduled to return on September 23, according to The National, which reported that the venue would bring back its signature dim sum, meat and seafood dishes alongside a new drinks menu.

What changed during the Hakkasan Dubai reopening?

The refurbishment adds a new lounge created by Design Worldwide Partnership, while the dining room now uses dark blue and turquoise tones with carved wood screens and latticing. The work keeps the restaurant’s familiar visual language without leaving it entirely untouched, which is probably the sensible option for a room people already photograph before sitting down.

The updated menu includes spicy organic yellowtail, assam seafood toban, curry sweet potato and a locally sourced king oyster mushroom salad. Two new signature dishes — mala wagyu short rib with pumpkin crisp and lychee lobster with yuzu pearl — are exclusive to the Dubai restaurant, according to Hotelier Middle East.

What to expect when booking Hakkasan Dubai

Hakkasan remains led by executive chef Andy Toh and continues to focus on Cantonese cooking built around dim sum, premium seafood and signature meats. The official Atlantis The Palm restaurant page describes the venue as a MICHELIN-starred dining room at the resort.

The reopening gives Dubai diners the original menu, a refreshed lounge and a handful of dishes they will not find at another Hakkasan location. The National says the brand first arrived in the UAE in 2011 at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi before moving to Atlantis The Palm.
