Ibn Battuta Mall has added 21 businesses and plans another 17 openings by the end of 2027, bringing Roxy Cinemas, Chemist Warehouse, and more dining options to the Dubai destination. In its 12 October announcement, Dubai Retail outlined 38 new and upcoming openings across shopping, food, entertainment, and everyday services.
Roxy Cinemas and Hopa Loompa Entertainment are part of the upcoming lineup and give an end-of-2027 deadline for the remaining openings, but no individual launch dates.
What’s already open
The mall’s latest dining arrivals include Five Guys, Jimmy John’s Sandwiches, Marugame Udon, and Caribou Coffee. Halla Shawarma, Zaika, and Butter & Bread are also among the additions already welcoming customers, spanning sandwiches, noodles, coffee, and other casual dining choices.
For visitors comparing options beyond the mall, Dubai’s restaurant openings also include Keanu’s sourdough pizzeria in Jumeirah 2. At Ibn Battuta, the forthcoming food and drink additions are Peet’s Coffee, Ocean Basket, Asia Kitchen, and Smoothie Factory.
Fashion and lifestyle arrivals include Jack & Jones, Anta, Tanishq, Magrabi, Mumuso, and Suit Sartoria. Dubai Retail lists OWNDAYS and Puzzle Supplements as future additions, alongside Chemist Warehouse, Midi, My Shops, and Cantata. It hasn’t supplied a store-by-store opening schedule or court locations for those upcoming businesses.
Roxy leads the entertainment plans
Roxy Cinemas is the headline addition for filmgoers, with Hopa Loompa Entertainment also planned as a family leisure attraction. The announcement doesn’t specify Roxy’s screen count, formats, ticket prices, or booking date, so those details remain unconfirmed.
The leisure expansion follows the openings of Zamania by Leo & Loona and Like Bricks. Tbreak previously covered Zamania’s arrival at Ibn Battuta Mall, making it an existing attraction rather than part of the still-to-open cinema line-up. Toy Station is also preparing to open.
Beyond shopping and entertainment, the announcement names ADCB, Amit Care, Doctor M, Melodica, and Desco Copy & Print Centre among new and upcoming service businesses. It doesn’t specify the opening status of each, so visitors shouldn’t assume the full services list is operating yet.
Dubai Retail reports that the mall already has more than 350 operating businesses and averages approximately 1.5 million visits a month. Its expansion announcement covers both destination attractions and the services residents use regularly. For a visit now, the practical change is the already-open dining and retail selection; the cinema and other forthcoming attractions need separate launch announcements.
