Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services, an agentic AI package for capital markets and corporate banking that ships with a managed Financial Research agent, more than 50 purpose-built skills, and connectors to licensed market data.

The preview is available today. Deutsche Bank was a design partner on the Financial Research agent and will deploy the platform across its Corporate Bank division; CME Group is also an early user. The launch sits alongside Gemini Enterprise for Legal, the first of what Google Cloud says will be a series of industry-specific packages built on the same governed platform.
“Financial professionals are looking for an AI platform that doesn’t lock them into any one model or ecosystem, connects to the IT systems they use every day, and is highly secure and compliant. With Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services, we are delivering exactly that — agentic capabilities for financial workflows, built with verifiable data explainability, so institutions can turn AI innovation into a confident competitive advantage.”
Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud
What Gemini Enterprise brings to financial workflows
The headline component is a Google-managed agent that runs end-to-end research with source citations and confidence scores — the kind of audit trail a regulated desk needs. Around it sit 13 connectors to licensed providers (FactSet, Moody’s, MSCI, PitchBook, S&P Global, LSEG and SEC Edgar among them) and 50 skills for workflows like credit risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, KYC onboarding and market news synthesis.
Google Cloud’s pitch is speed with governance: a bond portfolio risk analysis that used to take hours runs in under five minutes, and client pitch preparation is compressed from days to minutes. Deutsche Bank says the Corporate Bank will use the agent to cut manual research and give teams more time for client conversations.
“Starting in the Corporate Bank, we see significant potential to reduce manual research effort, improve the consistency and auditability of outputs, and give our teams more time for client conversations. This is an important step in applying AI where it can make a practical difference: safely, responsibly and at scale.”

What it means for banks in the UAE
The release carries a Dubai dateline and is aimed at regulated institutions, which is where the UAE relevance sits: DIFC and ADGM banks have data-residency and governance obligations that general-purpose AI tools do not meet. The platform works natively in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and the preview is open now. No UAE institution is named among the launch users, so local availability and pricing are still to be confirmed.
It is another step in Google’s push into regional AI work — the Gemini app’s personal-intelligence features and the UAE’s wider AI-for-all push — aimed this time at the institutions holding the data.
