Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary has edged out DC’s Clayface for the top spot at the North American box office. As relayed by KSL, the Associated Press estimates that You Can See Everything took $10.6 million from 2,655 locations in its third weekend. Clayface trailed by only $200,684, at $10.4 million. Positions could still change when final totals land on Monday.

The result is closer to a photo finish than a rout, and it arrived on a weak weekend. The overall three-day haul was estimated at $55.7 million, which AP says would make it the second-lowest-earning weekend of the year. Gold Derby reports that Halloween fell on a Saturday and no studio opened anything of consequence, so the top five were all holdovers.

IGN reports that the A24 documentary dropped just 43% domestically after a rise in its second weekend. It began on 855 screens on October 16 and has accumulated about $64 million. IGN says the film has benefited from strong word of mouth and reviews, and it gave the documentary a 10/10. The budget is reportedly under $20 million including production and marketing.

Clayface fell 57% in its second weekend, but it keeps the global lead. IGN puts its worldwide weekend at $22.8 million and its running total at $82.9 million, helped by the documentary’s limited international rollout. The film’s reported production budget is $44 million, and IGN reads the numbers as a modest but workable result for DC Studios after Supergirl‘s $68M opening fell short earlier this year. According to Gold Derby, the film also opened at No. 1 last weekend with $24 million.

Overseas audiences are waiting longer for the documentary. Variety reports that A24 is staggering the international release. It describes the film as the second-biggest documentary opening ever, behind Fahrenheit 9/11, with $15.6 million in the US. We couldn’t find a confirmed UAE or wider GCC release date. That’s the kind of run we flagged in our look at Zach Cregger’s franchise record push. Laika’s Wildwood is struggling against its reported $100 million budget, with $35.17 million after two weekends.
