Goldgenie, the Dubai-headquartered customiser, has opened reservations for gold, rose gold and platinum versions of Apple’s foldable. The company says the finished phone ships from 23 October 2026, the date it gives for the iPhone Duo’s release. Prices start at GBP 7,497 / US$ 10,000 / AED 36,700.

Goldgenie offers four metal finishes: 24k gold, 18k gold, rose gold and platinum. Buyers can add gemstone editions in amethyst, aquamarine, blue sapphire, citrine, diamond, emerald or ruby. The company says it applies a rhodium finish to platinum, which is worth knowing before you pay for the name. Goldgenie’s own site lists the Duo at GBP 7,497-8,997, though the press kit only gives the starting price.

Nothing here is a finished product yet. Goldgenie says every image and the 1 min 20 sec film are design renders, because no customised production unit can exist before Apple’s foldable goes on sale. The company says it will photograph the real device after 23 October.

The stills show 11 gemstone combinations. These pair 24k gold with amethyst, aquamarine or ruby, and platinum with amethyst, aquamarine, blue sapphire or citrine. Rose gold pairs with blue sapphire, diamond, emerald, or ruby. Goldgenie hasn’t published pricing for the stone editions, and no render covers the 18k gold finish.

The payment terms differ from a normal phone purchase. Buyers reserve with a 50% deposit and pay the balance before shipping. Goldgenie says customisation done on a customer’s own device carries a three-year warranty, while products bought from Goldgenie carry a lifetime warranty.

For UAE readers, the base device costs extra. Our iPhone Duo UAE price and specs rundown covers Apple’s own pricing, and Apple opened its “Get Ready” window on 12 October. Goldgenie hasn’t published an AED price, so the GBP figure is the only one available for now.
