Eight Sleep Pod 6 launches in the UAE with 18 sensors

Eight Sleep Pod 6 is now available in the UAE with 18 biometric sensors, a smaller under-bed hub and a local starting price of AED 7,999. The smart mattress cover is the company’s sixth-generation Pod and requires an Autopilot membership alongside the hardware.

Eight Sleep Pod 6 adds more sensors and a smaller hub

The Pod 6 cover moves from two sensors in the Pod 5 to 18, according to Eight Sleep’s UAE press release and reporting from Tom’s Guide. Eight Sleep says the denser array can separate the signals of two people sleeping together, or distinguish a sleeper from a pet or child on the bed.

Those sensors track heart rate, breathing rate, heart rate variability, snoring, movement, and sleep stages without requiring a wearable. The system feeds that data into Autopilot, which adjusts the temperature throughout the night based on sleep stage, the environment, and the sleeper’s patterns.

The new Hub is designed to fit beneath most standard bed frames. Eight Sleep says its redesigned thermoelectric coolers, airflow and acoustic systems deliver temperature adjustments 20 per cent faster than previous Pod generations, with up to 20 per cent quicker relief from night sweats and chills.

Each side of the Pod runs its own temperature and tracking settings. Changing one side does not change the other, which is the main reason to buy a connected bed system rather than argue about the thermostat as if it were a constitutional matter.

UAE pricing and sizes

Eight Sleep’s UAE store lists the Pod 6, while the press release gives the following local prices:

The Solo version is designed for one sleeper and covers one side of a King bed. Standard covers are designed for one or two sleepers and work across the full mattress. The Pod 6 also works with existing Eight Sleep add-ons, including the Blanket, Pillow Cover and Base, which are sold separately.

The UAE launch price is lower than the previous Pod 5’s listed starting price of AED 9,999, although the Pod 6’s full-bed Standard sizes rise to AED 11,999 for Emperor. Eight Sleep says engineering efficiencies allowed it to pass some of the savings to members.

The subscription covers two sleepers

Every Pod 6 requires an Autopilot membership. In the UAE, the annual tiers listed in the press material are Standard at AED 799, the middle tier at AED 1,199 and the top tier at AED 1,499. The plans cover two individual sleeper accounts and provide the automatic temperature adjustments and biometric insights that make the Pod more than a heated mattress cover.

The two higher tiers include a five-year warranty, while Standard includes a two-year warranty, according to the regional pricing information. The press release gives annual UAE prices but does not provide monthly AED rates, so those should be confirmed at checkout rather than converted from US pricing.

What else is Eight Sleep adding?

Eight Sleep says the Pod has improved more than one million nights of sleep and is backed by more than 50 clinical studies. Those are the company’s claims rather than an independent assessment of Pod 6’s performance.

The company has also introduced Pregnancy Mode, Biological Age,nd Autopilot 4.0, which it describes as a personal sleep agent that predicts users’ needs and adjusts temperature and settings during the night. The Pod’s sensor data is still wellness information, not a diagnosis.

Eight Sleep is pursuing US FDA clearance and Abu Dhabi Health Technology Assessment clearance for sleep-apnoea detection and mitigation. The company told Tom’s Guide that the Abu Dhabi application is in progress. That feature should therefore be treated as pending regulatory review, not as a medical function available with the UAE launch.

Abu Dhabi is testing an AED 9,999 AI mattress against sleep apnoea, although that is a separate study and product. The broader question of how sleep devices present health data has also drawn scrutiny in Oura’s sleep-tracking accuracy case.

Eight Sleep says Pod 6 will be available starting September 23, 2026, in more than 37 countries, including the UAE. The system can be ordered through the company’s regional website, with the 30-night trial, shipping and warranty terms subject to the store’s conditions.
