Bentley has unveiled the Bentley Torcal, its first fully electric production car and a new five-seat SUV line positioned below the larger Bentayga. The roughly five-metre model arrives with up to 888 PS, a claimed 600km WLTP range and a 10–80% charging time of about 16 minutes on a suitable 400kW charger.
The Torcal is Bentley’s fourth model line, alongside the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga. The National, which previewed the car at Bentley’s Crewe factory, says production is approaching and that the full technical specification will follow in the coming months. Bentley’s own performance overview calls it the most powerful and fastest-accelerating production Bentley yet.
Bentley Torcal performance and range
Two versions are planned. The standard Torcal produces 821 PS and 1,194Nm, reaches 60mph in 3.3 seconds and tops out at 155mph. The Torcal S raises output to 888 PS and 1,350Nm with Launch Control, cutting the 0–60mph run to 2.8 seconds and lifting the top speed to 162mph, according to Wired and Bentley’s launch material.

Both versions use two permanent-magnet synchronous motors and an 800V electrical system. The 113kWh battery uses 192 pouch cells, while a fully active suspension and rear locking differential are intended to keep the large SUV composed without making it feel like a battery-powered Bentayga.
Bentley says the Torcal can add roughly 100 miles of range in seven minutes and charge from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 16 minutes. The company has not yet published UAE pricing or a local on-sale date.
Bentley Torcal price and production
The Torcal starts at £173,330 in the UK, according to Auto Express, with full production due to begin in Crewe in early 2027. Bentley has invested £350 million in its factory, including a separate electric assembly line. The National reports that the model is intended to attract new customers while keeping the marque’s traditional design language, including an illuminated crystal grille.
The Torcal joins a growing field of large luxury electric SUVs, including the Genesis GV90 and Cadillac VISTIQ. The regional EV market is also gaining locally relevant products such as the CEER EXOBOT, although none is a direct substitute for Bentley’s price or positioning.
Bentley has not confirmed when the Torcal will reach the UAE, how much it will cost locally or whether the quoted WLTP figures will change after final type approval. Those details will matter more than the top-speed number for most owners, though Bentley has never been especially interested in stopping at “enough”.
