GTA 6’s first extended look premieres on Netflix August 27

Grand Theft Auto VI’s first extended look will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3pm ET — 11pm in the UAE — before appearing on Rockstar’s YouTube channel and the GTA VI website at 9pm ET, which is 5am Dubai time on August 28.

Rockstar confirmed the plan on its Newswire on August 6 without detailing what the extended look contains. It is the game’s biggest showing since Trailer 2 arrived in May 2025, and the first look of this length at a title that launches November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Pre-orders are open now at rockstargames.com/VI. The standard edition costs $79.99 in the US and the Ultimate Edition $99.99; UAE retailer Geekay lists the PS5 version at AED 329. We covered the standard and Ultimate pricing when Rockstar confirmed it in June.

Netflix gets the premiere six hours before Rockstar’s own channels, an unusual order for the most anticipated game in years. The two companies are familiar: the GTA Trilogy has sat in Netflix’s mobile games library since 2023, and the streamer has made its gaming ambitions plain.

When to watch in the UAE

Netflix is available in the UAE, so the extended look streams locally at 11pm on August 27. The YouTube version goes live at 5am on August 28 — which is when most of the region will actually watch it. Regional appetite has official form now: GTA V and GTA Online have been available in Saudi Arabia and the UAE since 2025.
