Google AI Plus students in the UAE can claim 12 months of Gemini’s paid features and student study tools without a subscription charge during the trial.
Google announced the offer on August 19, and its support page lists the United Arab Emirates among the countries covered. Students can claim the offer through Google One, then verify their status through SheerID with a valid school email address or other requested details. Google AI Plus students: what is included
The UAE offer is for Google AI Plus, rather than the Google AI Pro plan offered to eligible students in the United States. Google says AI Plus includes Gemini Omni, twice the standard Gemini usage limits and 400GB of storage. The offer is available in more than 140 markets where Google AI Plus is supported.
Google’s student hub also includes study notebooks, personalised quizzes and interactive visualisations. Students can upload lecture notes and other course material, then use Gemini to build study plans, identify knowledge gaps and create practice quizzes. Google says some features can also use a syllabus to add exam and assignment dates to Google Calendar, with the student’s permission.
How to claim the Google AI Plus UAE student offer
Go to one.google.com/ai-student, choose the available student offer and complete the SheerID verification. You will need a personal Google Account and a qualifying payment method at sign-up, even though the first 12 months are free.
Google says the offer must be redeemed by December 31, 2026. After the trial, Google AI Plus automatically moves to $4.99 per month or the local-currency equivalent unless cancelled earlier. Google’s terms say usage limits apply, and recurring add-ons such as upgraded storage are not included with the student offer.
Students can check the offer at Google’s Gemini student hub before signing up. It is a useful discount, provided you remember that the word “free” has an expiry date.
