Acer Googlebook glimpse: a clamshell and a Pixel
The IFA stills show a dark clamshell, the Acer mark on the bottom bezel, and a Pixel on the desk next to it. Android Authority reads that pairing as the phone-to-laptop story Google already set out for Googlebook, not as a detachable. There is little else to take from the slide. The on-screen line is “coming soon”.
Acer’s IFA newsroom on the same day published Swift, Iconia and ePaper, and Project DualPlay Mini notes. None of those releases is a Googlebook spec sheet.
