Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade joins Xbox Game Pass on 29 October, with access through Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Microsoft’s second October line-up also brings The Séance of Blake Manor and two day-one releases, giving subscribers a choice between a lengthy RPG, a supernatural investigation, and games built around playing with friends. The additions run from 21 October into early November, while nine games leave the library on Halloween.

The subscription tier is worth checking before choosing a download. Premium members get both headline games, but the two day-one releases, Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards, require Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Platform support also varies: most of the wave supports Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud, while Sandustry is listed for PC only.

Midgar or a haunted Irish hotel?

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade covers the story up to the escape from Midgar, combining real-time action with command-based combat. That makes it a starting point for players who want to follow this retelling, rather than jump into a later chapter. For readers following the series beyond this release, we’ve also covered the director’s comments about the length of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.

The other headline addition takes a quieter route into danger. Set in Ireland in 1897, The Séance of Blake Manor asks players to investigate a young woman’s disappearance at a remote hotel where supernatural events complicate the mystery. Its 27 October arrival puts it just ahead of Halloween, offering an investigative alternative to the wave’s more physical horror game.

That game, Terrible Lizards, arrives two days later and makes movement the means of survival. WDR Studios, founded by the creators behind JTMusic, has built its debut around escaping threats with parkour rather than fighting them. Together, the two releases offer different ways to spend Halloween: question the guests, or keep moving.

The full arrival schedule

Gematsu’s schedule also lists the eight games in this wave, including the November addition. In the table below, “all three” means Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Cloud is Microsoft’s announced platform listing; local service availability still applies.

The smaller releases fill out the schedule with different kinds of play. Sandustry combines mining in destructible worlds with automated production chains, while Dodo Duckie switches between 2D and 3D for its puzzles and platforming. Both appear before the larger late-month arrivals, giving subscribers factory-building and puzzle-platforming options before the RPG arrives.

For groups, Scramble Knights Online offers an MMO-lite action RPG built around a shared kingdom, quests, dungeons, and forging equipment. It launches into Game Preview, so subscribers will be joining an in-development release. November’s Pit of Goblin instead sends co-op players scavenging through dangerous dungeons to feed the Goblin King-Queen, with traps and monsters standing between them and dinner.

Check your unfinished games before Halloween

The departures create a tighter deadline than the incoming games. On 31 October, the service loses Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales, and Wildgate. Each is listed as leaving cloud, console, and PC, so switching devices won’t extend subscription access.

Microsoft also gives football fans a separate deadline. Football Manager 26 leaves PC Game Pass on 10 November, alongside Football Manager 26 – Console Edition on cloud, console, and PC. If either is your regular game, check the purchase options before that date; otherwise, the immediate priority is finishing anything on the October departure list before starting another long RPG.

Which Game Pass plans include the two day-one releases?

Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards are both listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Premium isn’t included for either in this announcement, so check your current plan before their launch dates.

Do you need to buy the departing games to keep playing?

Once a game leaves the subscription library, you need another valid licence to continue playing it. Microsoft points subscribers towards purchase offers before the games leave; check the price and edition in your account’s store before buying.
