The trailer shows the former friends brawling in a dark alley. Ryu appears to be following a path connected to the Dark Hadou, telling Chun-Li that there was “darkness growing” within him. Ken, meanwhile, says he has spent years living in Ryu’s shadow and intends to win the World Warrior tournament organised by M. Bison.
The tournament carries its own problem. M. Bison is secretly trying to steal the strongest fighters’ powers, while Chun-Li tells Ryu that Ken is in danger and asks him to fight for his friend.
