SteelSeries has launched the Aeon Pro, a premium wireless controller for Xbox and PC built around a patent-pending QuickSwitch dock that can also connect to mobile devices. It is available from 8 September in black or white, starting at $259.99 in North America.

The dock connects the Aeon Pro to Xbox and PC, letting players switch systems without re-pairing, reconnecting or moving cables. The controller can also connect to mobile devices. SteelSeries lists the dock as more than a charger: it handles device connections, charges spare batteries and stores the interchangeable thumbsticks.
The Infinite Power System uses two rechargeable batteries. One can charge in the dock while the other powers the controller, so a low battery does not have to end a session. The official product page also lists compatibility between these batteries and selected Arctis Nova Pro, Arctis Nova Pro Omni and Arctis Nova Elite batteries.
Hall Effect sticks and mechanical switches
The Aeon Pro uses Hall Effect thumbsticks, which use contactless sensors to avoid the drift associated with traditional analogue stick components. SteelSeries also says the controller has 18 mechanical switches, with fast tactile inputs and a rated lifespan of millions of clicks.
The controller has four contoured rear paddles that can be remapped to in-game functions. Its modular stick system includes standard concave, tall concave and short convex options, with storage built into the dock. A textured wrap-around grip covers the handles, while trigger controls can switch between full travel and hair-trigger modes.
The onboard OLED display handles system selection, profiles, battery information and control remapping. On PC, SteelSeries GG adds adjustments for dead zones, rumble intensity, button mappings, triggers and saved profiles.

SteelSeries lists the Aeon Pro at $259.99 in North America, £229.99 in the UK, €259.99 in EMEA and $259.99 in APAC. The controller is sold in black and white through SteelSeries.com and selected retailers worldwide from 8 September 2026.
