Samsung has released a second wave of its Galaxy Z TriFold in the UAE after the first batch sold out on its launch day. The limited restock is a response to high demand for the company's most ambitious foldable yet with the device's initial UAE launch showing a strong appetite for new form factors.

What exactly is the Galaxy Z TriFold?

The Galaxy Z TriFold is Samsung's attempt to merge a smartphone and a tablet. When folded, it's a relatively thick phone. Unfolded, it opens up into a 10-inch AMOLED display, offering a large canvas for work or entertainment. The idea is to provide a multi-window workspace that fits in a pocket, a concept other brands have explored but none have executed at this scale.

The build uses a reinforced Armor Aluminum frame and titanium for the hinge housing. Durability is always the main question with complex foldables, and Samsung claims these materials improve its resilience. Galaxy AI on a bigger screen

Samsung is pushing its Galaxy AI features hard with this device. The larger screen is designed to make better use of multi-window layouts and a standalone version of Samsung DeX, which creates a desktop-like interface on the device itself. AI tools like Photo Assist, Generative Edit, and Sketch to Image are also included.

The software also integrates Gemini Live for real-time assistance. These AI features aim to improve productivity, from summarising web pages to managing workflows, but their usefulness will vary from person to person.

The second wave of the Galaxy Z TriFold is available in the UAE from 23 January 2026. You can find the limited-edition device at select Samsung brand stores and on the official Samsung.com website for the region.

The thing is, Samsung has not announced the official UAE price for this restock. Given its high-end specs and unique form factor, expect a premium price tag that will likely place it at the top of the market for best foldable phones.
