The RedMagic 12 Pro is now official worldwide, bringing RGB-lit liquid cooling and a 185Hz screen from AED 3,499 (SAR 3,699, $899). According to GSMArena, open sales start on 18 November in markets including the Middle East.
Last year’s RedMagic 11 Pro started at €699, and every 12 Pro configuration costs €200 more, with the 12GB/256GB model at €899. The top model also drops from 24GB to 16GB of RAM. Fan-cooled phones such as the REDMAGIC 11S Pro already feature in our guide to the best gaming phones in the UAE.
It’s the global version of the China-only 12 Pro+, unveiled in mid-October. The 12 Pro keeps that phone’s RGB-lit liquid cooling and 8,400 mAh battery, but it isn’t identical. Wired charging tops out at 80W instead of 120W, and the shoulder triggers sample at 520Hz rather than 700Hz. Wireless and bypass charging are still there.

What’s inside
RedMagic’s AquaCore Cooling System 3.0 pairs dual-loop liquid cooling, now with RGB lighting, with a 25,500 RPM fan. It also has Liquid Metal 4.0 and a vapour chamber with a 15% larger effective cooling area. A new micro-pump reaches 130kPa of output pressure (85% more than before) while drawing as little as 20mW.
Up front sits a 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE X11 OLED panel with 0.96mm bezels. RedMagic calls it the industry’s first 185Hz screen with a “true full-screen” design, hiding a 16MP selfie camera underneath alongside a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader. It peaks at 1,900 nits across the panel and 5,000 nits locally, with touch sampling up to 5,000Hz.
Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, backed by RedMagic’s own RedCore R5 gaming chip and G1 display chip. It has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The 8,400 mAh battery is 12% bigger than the 11 Pro’s 7,500 mAh cell, yet the phone is thinner at 8.5mm against 8.9mm.
The phone also has a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings (the fan area is rated IPX8 separately), stereo Dolby Atmos speakers, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 7, and USB 3.2 Gen 2. RedMagic OS 12 runs on Android 17, with Gemini built in, PC game emulation, and Steam access through the X-Gravity gaming centre.
Early Bird vouchers go on sale from 12 to 17 November. Holders can order on 17 November and get a free 80W charger and a RedMagic-branded extra, a day before open sales begin.
