The PS Plus October 2026 games are F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. The three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, 6 October to Monday, 2 November, according to Sony’s announcement. Gematsu’s report confirms the same lineup.
The PS Plus October 2026 games cover three different styles: Formula One racing, an extraction shooter and co-op action. F1 25 and Hunt: Showdown 1896 are listed for PS5, while Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is the only one with a PS4 version as well.
PS Plus October 2026 games: what each title offers
F1 25 is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. Its modes include Career and My Team 2.0. The PlayStation F1 25 page lists the PS5 edition.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a first-person extraction shooter in which players track down bosses, claim bounties and try to reach an extraction point. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is a voxel-styled action game that brings together soldiers and enemies from across the series.
When to claim the PS Plus October 2026 games
The October games arrive on 6 October and leave the monthly lineup on 2 November. Members have until Monday, 5 October to add September’s games — Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes — to their libraries.
Sony says monthly lineups may differ by region and advises checking PlayStation Store on release day. UAE members should confirm the local listing on 6 October rather than assume every market receives the same selection. Which October game is best for co-op play?
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen. Hunt: Showdown 1896 can be played with up to two teammates, while F1 25’s F1 World mode lets players race in squads against AI drivers, according to Sony’s lineup details.
Can I keep playing claimed monthly games after my PlayStation Plus subscription ends?
No. PlayStation says access to monthly games ends when the subscription period expires; the games are a membership benefit, not permanent purchases. See Sony’s cancellation guidance.
