Percy Jackson's Camp Half-Blood Opens in Fortnight Tomorrow

Fortnite is doing what Fortnite does best: borrowing another universe and turning it into a playable theme park. This time it's Percy Jackson, with a full Siege of Monsters island built to feel like Camp Half-Blood and the Seat of Monsters.

The new island is a free Creative experience that lets you role-play as a fresh demigod, meet the show's main trio, and run story missions tied to the first two seasons of the Disney+ series. It also drops the day before Season 2 goes live on Disney+, so yes, it's very much a promo - just a pretty good-looking one.

What is Percy Jackson: Siege of Monsters in Fortnite?

This isn’t a simple skin drop. It’s a full-on island designed as a Percy Jackson adventure.

• Name: Percy Jackson: Siege of Monsters
• Mode type: UEFN / Creative island, not the main Battle Royale map
• Developer: Gauntlet, a third-party Fortnite UEFN studio
• Core loop: arrive as a new demigod, learn who your godly parent is, unlock powers, then clear quests and boss fights
• Enemies: classic Greek monsters like the Minotaur, Scylla, Charybdis and more
• Story flavour: moments and side quests inspired by the first two TV seasons

Epic and Disney worked with the show’s team to make the island feel “authentic” to both the books and the series. Executive producer Dan Shotz talks about building a whole world inside Fortnite, with boss fights against big myth creatures and time to just hang out with the main cast.

Camp Half-Blood, but make it digital

The entire island revolves around Camp Half-Blood, rebuilt in Fortnite’s engine.

The island pushes you through training areas, then into boss encounters on the Sea of Monsters, tying back to the Sea of Monsters storyline that Season 2 adapts.

When does Percy Jackson hit Fortnite in UAE time?

The official launch time is 9 December 2025 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).

• In-game tie-ins: side quests and activities are based on key moments from Seasons 1 and 2 of the show
