Nissan has introduced the Nissan Tekton in the Middle East, with a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine, 212mm of ground clearance and regional availability planned before the end of 2026.
Nissan Tekton brings Patrol cues to a compact SUV
The five-seat SUV made its regional debut at Auto World Kuwait after its world premiere in India. Nissan says it is built in Chennai under its “One Car, One World” approach and measures 4,348mm long, with a 2,657mm wheelbase.
The Middle East version uses a 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 153hp and 278Nm, paired with a six-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It has Eco, Comfort and Perso driving modes, an electronic shifter and paddle shifters. Ground clearance is 212mm, while available equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof.

What the Nissan Tekton includes
The cabin has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.1-inch infotainment display, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and an available six-speaker Arkamys system. Higher grades add ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a cooled centre-armrest compartment and a wireless charger.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, a Multi-View Camera, 12 ultrasonic sensors, Intelligent Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Keep Assist and Automatic Emergency Braking. The equipment list puts the Nissan Tekton close to the feature-heavy end of the compact SUV market, although Nissan has not published grade-by-grade regional specifications.
