Most laptops in this price bracket are grey. The Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe, announced at Lenovo Innovation World at IFA 2026, is Lenovo’s attempt to sell a mainstream Copilot+ machine on colour and personalisation instead: seven finishes developed with the Pantone Colour Institute, swappable keycaps as an accessory, and configurations that let you pick between metal and a two-tone metal-and-polymer build. It starts at 799 euros — about AED 3,400 at the 2 September 2026 rate, before local taxes and retail margins — and arrives in October 2026.
The seven colours
Lenovo’s naming is doing a lot of work here. The line-up runs Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue and Lowkey Grey, with the company describing them as drawn from everyday surroundings rather than a fashion palette. The practical detail buried in the footnotes: OLED configurations are only offered in Lowkey Grey and Moody Blue, with up to 100% DCI-P3 coverage where supported. If you want the best panel, your colour choice narrows to two.
What is inside
The IdeaPad Vibe comes in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes. The Snapdragon X models bring Copilot+ PC features and up to 24GB of memory, with Lenovo quoting all-day battery life and the usual on-device AI extras — live translation, video-call effects, faster content tools and local privacy features. There is also an AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series version, and on paper it is the more flexible buy: dual-slot memory upgradeable to 32GB and SSD expansion to 1TB. Intel-based configurations are coming later, with no date given.
Ports are better than the design-led pitch suggests: dual upgradeable SSD slots, multiple USB Type-A and Type-C, HDMI, a microSD reader and a headphone jack, plus TÜV Low Blue Light certification.

Who it is for
This is a student-and-family laptop, and Lenovo says so. The pitch is that you do not have to choose between a machine that performs and one you like looking at, which is a fair pitch at 799 euros — provided the Snapdragon configuration you can actually find in stock is not the 16GB base model, and provided the colour you want is offered with the screen you want.
Sitting above it in the same announcement is the IdeaCentre AIO i all-in-one, in six colours from 999 euros in November, and the far more expensive Yoga Pro 9n creator laptop.
