Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 3 design and colours

Press renders published by SamMobile show the Galaxy SmartTag 3 with a rounded-square body, replacing the pill-shaped design used by the Galaxy SmartTag 2. The front appears mostly silver with a Samsung logo, while the rear carries regulatory markings and a pinhole for replacing the coin-cell battery.

The leaked renders show white and black versions. Samsung is also reportedly preparing bumper, leather and silicone cases, with a third-party pet-collar case mentioned by SamMobile. The lack of a built-in keyring cutout means the case may be part of the cost of owning one, rather than an optional flourish.

Galaxy SmartTag 3 features and launch timing

FCC filings have reportedly confirmed Bluetooth LE and Ultra Wideband connectivity. The tracker is said to measure 30 x 30mm and be under 10mm thick. Earlier reports also point to Samsung Find support and a possible IP67 or IP68 rating, but Samsung has not confirmed those details.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 3 rear panel with certification markings

A South Korean certification for model EI-T5900 adds weight to the launch reports. The model number follows the EI-T5600 used by the Galaxy SmartTag 2, although the certification does not name the product. Samsung has not given a launch date; reports suggest it could arrive within the next few weeks or before the end of 2026.

Galaxy SmartTag 3 price and UAE availability

Reports put the Galaxy SmartTag 3 at $30 in the US and €28 in Europe, with a four-pack expected at $100 and €93 respectively. Samsung has not announced a UAE price or confirmed a UAE launch. The Galaxy SmartTag 2 is listed on Samsung’s UAE support site, but that does not confirm local availability for the new model.

The Galaxy SmartTag 3 is expected to work with Samsung Galaxy devices, while Apple’s AirTag remains tied to Apple’s Find My network. The two trackers aren’t interchangeable, so the better choice depends largely on the phone already in your pocket. Tbreak’s best fitness trackers in the UAE guide covers the wider tracker market, while Belkin’s SureFind trackers show how rival tags are splitting support between Apple and Google networks. Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 3 remains unconfirmed in the UAE.
