Samsung’s rumoured Galaxy S27 Pro could support 60W wired charging, according to a Chinese certification listing reported by SamMobile. That would put it level with the Galaxy S27 Ultra and make it Samsung’s fastest charging non-foldable flagship line yet, assuming the phones launch as reported.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro charging details
The certification reportedly lists Samsung model numbers SM-S9570 and SM-S9580, which are expected to correspond to the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is still an unconfirmed name at this stage. The filing shows a maximum 20V/3A charging profile, equivalent to 60W. Both phones are also listed as shipping without a charger in the box.
Gizmochina’s report says the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus have also appeared in China’s 3C database, with lower charging speeds of 45W and 27W respectively. That would leave the Pro and Ultra as the quickest-charging models in the family.
What the Galaxy S27 Pro leak does not confirm
The certification does not confirm Samsung’s final branding, global specifications, UAE pricing or release date. A separate report from Notebookcheck places the launch window in early 2027, but Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S27 range.
The 60W figure is also a ceiling, not a promise of constant charging at that rate. Actual speeds will depend on the charger, cable, temperature and battery level. Samsung’s current approach to leaving chargers out of premium phone boxes appears likely to continue, so buyers may need a compatible adapter already in the drawer.
